The ranking is the first to be released by the Financial Times since the announcement of EMBA-Global Asia, which will welcome its inaugural class in May 2009.
The Center on Japanese Economy and Business and the Weatherhead East Asian Institute cosponsored a special lecture titled, "Japan's Politics: Current Realities, Future Possibilities" with Gerald L. Curtis, Burgess Professor of Political Science, Columbia University. Video of the Special Lecture is now available and a detailed summary report is forthcoming.
The partnership will provide undergraduates with an overview of the School’s curriculum and allow them to learn about business school admissions and student life.
In the wake of Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda's resignation and the election of Taro Aso as his successor, Gerald Curtis, Burgess Professor of Political Science, Columbia University, gave a special lecture titled "Japan's Politics: Current Realities, Future Possibilities." The event was cosponsored by the Weatherhead East Asian Institute (WEAI) and the Center on Japanese Economy and Business (CJEB) of Columbia Business School on September 25. Approximately 180 people were in attendance.
