Columbia Business School is proud to announce that the World Economic Forum has selected José A. Fourquet ’96, U.S. executive director of the Inter-American Development Bank, and Sallie Krawcheck ’92, chairman and CEO of Smith Barney, for the Global Leaders for Tomorrow program. The prestigious honor is conferred annually upon individuals demonstrating leadership in the corporate and public sectors.

For the second year in a row, Columbia Business School ranks No. 3 in the Financial Times global survey of MBA programs.

Internationally renowned for their expertise and groundbreaking research, Columbia Business School faculty members received a number of prestigious awards and appointments in 2002.

Columbia Business School is saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Emeritus Eli Ginzberg. Professor Ginzberg’s proposals on desegregation, monetary regulation and health care greatly influenced the national debate on the leading issues of his time. As an educator, he also touched countless students during the six decades that he taught at Columbia University, his alma mater.
