2007年1月30日（火）、「解き放たれた投資家：日本における株主アクティビズムの台頭」と題して、第8回米国三井物産財団シンポジウムを開催。

Nearly 200 people gathered for the Eighth Annual Mitsui USA Symposium, Investors Unleashed: The Rise of Shareholder Activism in Japan, held on January 30, 2007 at Columbia Business School. 

As part of the Samberg Institute's mission to continually elevate the classroom experience, the Institute seeks student input throughout the semester.

In response to feedback from the School community, Uris Deli now serves custom-made sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

“The partnership between Columbia Business School and IIM-Ahmedabad reflects our mutual interest in entrepreneurship, a shared worldview and a joint quest for innovation in a rapidly changing world,” said Dean Hubbard.

Professors Gur Huberman and Wei Jiang of the Finance and Economics Division received the Smith Breeden Distinguished Paper Prize at the 2007 annual meeting of the American Finance Association in Chicago.
