2024 - 2025 Budget

The 9-month student budget will include tuition, mandatory fees, health service fees and health insurance, books and supplies, and moderate living expenses. This number represents the maximum amount of funding you can receive through any scholarships, fellowships, sponsorship or student loans. The Financial Aid office recommends that you borrow responsibly and only the amount you truly need.

The following fees are applied by Columbia Engineering in the first year:

Program Fee

$526 per term.

Program fee associated with students enrolled in the MBAxMS, MS in Business Analytics, MS in Financial Engineering, MS in Industrial Engineering, MS in Management Science & Engineering and MS in Operations Research programs.

Student Activity Fee

$220 per term.

Assessed to all first year full time MS students to support in-person and online student-facing services and events.
